JACOB BERNSTEIN

Managing Director

Jacob has always had a keen interest in law and financial services. After completing a law degree and having gained a vast amount of experience in the legal and financial sector, Jacob felt that the best way to combine his knowledge, expertise and interest would be by opening a compliance consultancy thereby advising and supporting financial services businesses on the regulations they are subject to. Jacob identified the potential for a niche method of consultancy, in providing a very close hands on approach in order to understand the client’s commercial objectives. With that objective things grew, as Jacob guided the growth of Richdale from the original one-man-band to the current team of eleven in only four years. He opened a sister company which is directly authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority and operates as a mini network for mortgage, protection and general insurance brokers. As Founder and Director, Jacob maintains a full presence in the day-to-day operations and personally supports and interacts with our many clients. His attention to detail, long-term vision and clarity of explanation have led to him developing a reputation as a reliable and trustworthy operator who is popular with clients, staff and providers alike.

ARON TOPPERMAN

Senior Associate

Aron studied Business Management at UMIST and after gaining experience in a variety of industries over a number of years, he joined Richdale at the start of 2016 as a Compliance Administrator. He quickly advanced to become a trusted Account Manager and an integral part of our Service Provision. As Richdale has developed, Aron’s role has diversified to include the full gamut of management tasks, including overall responsibility for all operational activities of the Group, as well as office and staff management, whilst maintaining a key position at the forefront of client account management and business development.

SHIFRA RAKOW

Head of Accounts

Shifra joined Richdale in July 2017 to head up the accounts department. She puts her previous experience as a Senior Accounts Officer in a large London-based institution, and her spearheading of several large public fundraising campaigns, to good use.  Shifra also plays a pivotal role in the expansion of Richdale, with her insightful and expert project management skills helping to develop Richdale.

JOSH LEVEY

Operations Manager

After experience in operations and customer service in a variety of industries, Josh joined the company in 2018 as an Operations Manager where he puts his previously gained expertise to good use, ensuring the smooth internal running of Richdale’s operations. He is central to the success of many new and ongoing projects, enabling their careful execution across the board. Josh is also the in-house trouble-shooter, providing second-to-none tech service to our clients and staff alike.

ELI KAHAN

Quality Assurance

Eli’s long history in financial services dates back to the mid-1980s when he began assisting with various aspects of his father’s mortgage brokerage. After obtaining his degree in French & Economics, he pursued a career in the Insurance and Mortgage industry, with a traineeship at Friends Provident, followed by a number of years as a branch based IFA for Bradford & Bingley and several years as an IFA in a boutique London brokerage. Eli continued his career in finance in the USA, working for JPMorgan Chase Bank for 5 years providing investment, consumer-credit, mortgage, lending and other banking services to retail, HNW and small business clients. Eli has an extensive knowledge of the UK financial services industry both from the perspective of an adviser as well as from the compliance side. His knowledge working with several financial institutions across a variety of financial products types has proved invaluable to Richdale, in both his capacity as an Account Manager and within Quality Assurance, where he maintains responsibility for guiding various Operational, Procedural, Compliance, Risk and CPD/Training aspects of the business.

DANIEL WESTBROOK

Compliance Associate

Daniel studied Mathematics at UCL and after further study over a number of years, he joined the Company in 2019 as a Compliance Administrator. Daniel’s ever-ready willingness, expertise and attention to detail, have resulted in him having become a popular Account Manager, who handles a wide-range of compliance enquiries from the majority of our mortgage and insurance clients, as well as being responsible for the oversight of our Compliance Reviews process.

REBECCA POTASH

Compliance Associate

Rebecca completed her degree in Financial Management shortly before joining the Richdale team in mid-2018. Her expertise in the financial sector coupled with her research skills and abilities enable her to provide maximum support to our clients in her current position as Investment specialist & compliance administrator. Rebecca’s responsibilities extend to the collation, preparation and submission of the FCA GABRIEL submissions and support of the Payment Services team.

DEBBIE TOPPERMAN

Compliance Auditor

Debbie joined the team early in 2018 after several years as Department Head in a multi-national business providing services for insurance providers in the USA. She maximises her key qualities of precision and perceptiveness in her current role as compliance administrator, specialising in the mortgage and insurance department. Always friendly and polite, Debbie is here to assist clients along their compliance journey.

BRADLEY TALBERG

Compliance Auditor

Bradley completed his Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree at UNISA in South Africa, majoring in accounting and finance. He spent 17 years working in senior management in the non-profit sector including roles such as Operations and Financial Manager. Thereafter he gained much experience working as a financial broker and adviser. Bradley joined the Company at the start of 2020 and his extensive experience and knowledge in finance and management, together with his client centric approach, is already being utilised in a variety of roles and responsibilities within the Company.

SAMUEL ROSENBAUM

Compliance Auditor

Samuel has a background in project management in the charity sector. He has recently joined Richdale as a compliance auditor specialising in the charity sector, utilising his experience and interpersonal skills to support charities in continuing their contributions to society, by ensuring they are fully compliant with HMRC and Charity Commission regulations.

AVI SEGAL

Compliance Auditor

Avi’s extensive experience and understanding of finance and management, together with his keen attention to detail have paved the way for successful contribution to a broad number of functions across the company. Prior to working at Richdale, Avi was a senior analyst at Youngstartup Ventures, where he assisted early stage startups secure funding from venture capitalists and angel investors. Throughout his career, he has led and effectively managed multiple teams within various departments. Avi holds a BBA, majoring in marketing and financial management.

SHERRI ABERGEL

Compliance Auditor

Sherri’s early career began in the banking industry, and has included Operations Management, Compliance and Wealth Management for both major US banks, as well as independent institutions. In recent years, Sherri has worked in the insurance industry as a licensed Life/Health Agent, and was recruited by a major bank as an Operations Consultant. Sherri’s varied background has also been utilised serving as a content editor for various website publications, and she has now brought her extensive experience to Richdale, to benefit our Compliance Auditing team.
