Case Study: Authorised Payment Institution (API)
When an Authorised Payment Institution (API) was seeking to set up a storefront sister company trading in foreign exchange, it meant an entirely separate payment services application to the FCA, in conjunction with training the principal firm on the more fine regulations in the Revised Payment Services Directive (PSD2) concerning foreign exchange payment services.
Ultimately, with our full suite of bespoke compliance consulting and monitoring, we were able to help the foreign exchange firm register with the FCA as a Small Payment Institution (SPI) with the necessary permissions.
